Two nights ago, I danced my butt off for three hours at the Springsteen concert and I would definately say, all the stars came into alignment for me and the magic that is life. I am so inspired to play for you all tonight and I hope a little of that inspiration rubs off on you. We have been sharing with you a new song every week written for a special friend of EFS in celebration of our show at The Independent and finally tonight is the night! We go on at 9pm. Buy Tickets for tonights show!
Today i want to honor Tina- a dear friend of mine who can really shake some booty, and not only that, she can fly too! She is a one of a kind dynamo of woman from Hells Kitchen, NY, full of East Coast attitude and west coast physic powers! Skydiver, dancer, and psychic with an MBA from Paris! I hope you all enjoy this song- i had a lot of fun pretending to be a rapper, this is a funny one:) Hit the play button and laugh a little today.

Slow motion feels so good- like the southern heat that makes you have to sit down because if you move fast, you'll pass out. Slowness makes everyone friendlier. There is more presence for each moment. The more i love my life the more i want it to go slower. The more i don't like my life the more i wish i could slow it down. Seems like slowing down is the answer to everything. What do you want for dinner? Slow food. What do you wanna do tonight? Sing slow jams at the kareoke bar. How fast do trees grow? Slowly.
Recently i have been playing guitar really quiet and slow- and i was inspired to write a song about Lily- our first real true EFS fan. She wasn't our freind- none of us knew her- yet she liked the band? What a revelation! When we first started playing in EFS and me and Tammy didn't even use email- she made cool graphics to put up on our myspace page- she showed us how to use the internets- she is smart, fun and has been our biggest cheerleader over the years and I am truly grateful. I wanted to make a song that showed her sexiness and class all at once, and the backdrop being that she was a student in college, picking up girls. HIT PLAY BELOW
AND PLEASE BUY ADVANCE TICKETS TO OUR SHOW ON FRIDAY APRIL 27th BEFORE IT SELLS OUT!
Yes its the world famous Matthew Wood, nominated for two acadamy awards for sound editing in There Will Be Blood, and Wall-E, sound editor of all Star Wars prequels, voice of General Grievous, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen;) He loves singing U2 in the Pacific Ocean and doing Scavenger Hunts in the Bay Area. His favorite color is green and one time he went to mexico with me and two wendies and we hijacked a resort hotel band. He is one of the most creative and fun people i know and it was my pleasure to write a song for him. He has made an incredible contribution to us by helping to fund the production of Tonic For Hysteria and for that we are so grateful! I wrote this song about Matthews travels to far away planets that have taken us all away in our imaginations to beautiful sound landscapes. It's what the General Would do if he had to be an earthling. Matthew here's to you. Listen to the song by pressing play below. EFS LOVES YOU!

She's shy and will need some encouragement...but she really knows her part well! I can't wait 'til you meet her- and you will meet her at The Independent on April 27th when we open for Loquat.

Just look at that innocent face! Adam is a longtime friend of mine and Robbie's from back in the good ole days growing up in Rockville Center, New York. He is an incredible astrologer and healer, which is what this song "Mercy Howls" is about. A few years back i was super super sad and driving through the Haight when i saw Adama on the street and stopped to pick him up. First thing he says to me while I'm crying is ,"You're gonna die!" because thats the kind of guy Adam is. He proceeded to do one of his magical astrology/energy healing sessions with me and it was so powerful i immortalized him in the free song down below. Go ahead and hit play, it won't hurt :) Also If you want to get a session with him they are now 25% off until his birthday on April 22nd. He also plays in a band called Beast Of Beauty, and he has a brand new album so check it out kidz! And dont forget to buy your ticket for EFS at the Independent!
